Firebox E-series Firewall
The new Firebox e-series firewalls from WatchGuard are designed to exceed the
legal requirements set out by the European Union RoHS and WEEE environmental legislation
required to sell new electronic hardware within the EU.
Three Firebox firewall options now exist:
The new Firebox X Edge e-Series features inter-office traffic prioritisation
and bandwidth management to ensure traffic is handled based on how business critical it is.
WatchGuard's Quality of Service (QoS) functionality is dynamic, allowing full bandwidth utilisation
and maximizing throughput performance.
WatchGuard's new e-series are designed to replace the standard X series, thus
the slightly differing model numbering. In addition, please note that obtaining
appliances from the Firebox X series has become increasingly difficult as it is now
illegal to import them into the UK.
